The nation’s top-ranked player Marvin Bagley from Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA) announced, not only his future college destination on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Monday, the 6-11 forward also proclaimed that he would re-classify to the Class of 2017 and head to college this Fall.

Once ranked No. 1 in the nation for the Class of 2018 by Nothing But Net Magazine before the recent announcement, Bagley picked Duke over two other finalists, USC and UCLA. Arizona and Kansas had also comprised his announced final six college choices.

He combines a terrific skill set with big time length, athleticism and tremendous feel for a player so young. Bagley is one of the most physically talented, and skilled, prospects I have seen in years.

He is also a good student and a very respectful, well-mannered, young man that is now a legitimate candidate for the No. 1 overall pick in NBA Draft for 2018.

Bagley also enhances Coach K’s already loaded Duke roster and increases the Blue Devils’ chances of reaching the NCAA Final 4 in San Antonio next Spring.
