The 2023 Pangos All American Camp continues to emerge as one of the top high school boys basketball camps in the world. The camp is a three day event held at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. The first day was well attended by multiple national and regional media outlets, evaluators, and scouts. Numerous NBA teams also had their scouts present to observe the future up and coming NBA draft prospects. Here are some of the performers who caught my attention on court 3:

Casmir Chavez 6’2 2024 Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN)
Chavez is a shifty point guard with an explosive first step. He utilized that step to penetrate the defense and facilitate or finish through or around contact. His most impressive attribute is his willingness to play fearlessly. As he continues to compete hard, it will continue to open many doors for this young man’s career.

Godswill Erheriene 6’9 2024 Long Island Lutheran (Glen Head, NY)
Erheriene made his presence known as an active post rim protector. He cleans the glass on both ends of the floor extremely well. I really like how he runs the floor and makes his presence known end to end. Offensively he is a solid rim-runner as he runs the floor well and is attentive to his surroundings.

James Brown 6’10 2024 Link Academy (MO) North Carolina verbal
Brown is one of the most ferocious dunkers I have ever seen. He looks to finish above the rim any chance he gets. Besides his explosiveness and finishing ability, Brown defends the paint consistently and runs the floor extremely well for his size. His relentless motor continues to produce many opportunities on both ends of the floor for him. Brown is one of my favorites to be selected to the cream of the crop game at the conclusion of camp. If he can continue producing quality stats, I anticipate him having a bright future professionally.

Ring Nyeri 6’8 2024 Liberty (Peoria, AZ)
A wonderful looking wing prospect with great length and guard skills (passing, ball handling). Nyier utilizes his length and reach to finish at the rim. He also has a nice mid-range game and ability to hit the deep ball. I love this kid as he has an amazing work ethic and accepts hard coaching. His stock will continue to elevate into the summer as he is one of Arizona’s best kept secrets.

Rob Wright 6’0 2024 Neumann Goretti (Philadelphia, PA) Baylor verbal
Wright is crafty and shifty point guard. He impressed with his three-level scoring ability and tight handle. I really liked his jab step as he knew how to utilize those attacking moves to set defenders up and create offensive opportunities for himself or his teammates. Wright also plays and competes hard on both ends of the floor. A very impressive and exciting prospect to watch.
