The 10th annual Pangos JUNIOR All-American Camp presented by Spalding was held recently (February 26-27) at McBride HS (Long Beach CA). This year’s event featured approximately 185 top 2026, 2027 and 2028 prospects from 18 different states and Canada. This camp has a long tradition of showcasing many of the best youth talent in the country and boast alumni the likes of DeAndre Ayton, Evan Mobley, LaMelo Ball, Jalen Green, Stanley Johnson, Tyler Dorsey, Onyeka Okongwu, Marvin Bagley, Moses Moody, Johnny Juzang, Isaiah Mobley, Cassius Stanley, Ethan Thompson, Mikey Williams, Nick Smith, Skyy Clark, Julian Strawther and 2021 Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young.

While this camp report highlights several top players, please keep in mind that this is a very early look at young middle school players that have much room for future growth and are all “unfinished” products.

Jordan Askew 5”10 2026 Costa Mesa CA
Younger brother of Texas guard Devin Askew is a savvy lead guard with legitimate scoring power (had a 26 point game early in camp). Askey is strong with the ball and has deep 3-point range.
Jaden Bailes 6’1″ 2026 St. Augustine (San Diego CA)
Strong and confident scoring guard saved his best for last as his 13 points/4 rebounds in Best of Best Game earned him co-MVP honors. Jaden is also a physical defender and plays well through contact.
Kaiden Bailey 6’3 2026 Irvine CA
Skilled and crafty scoring lead guard with plenty of “go to” moves had 22 points in his 1st camp game on Saturday and didn’t look back as he was clearly among the cream of the crop here. Kaden has great potential to develop into a sought after D1 prospect. Creative off the dribble with great feel and instincts, Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life & Grassrootshoops.net) pegged him as his #5 player in camp.
Che’ Brogan 6’5 2026 Valley Christian (Cerritos CA)
My 1st impression of Brogan was a very good one. Skilled and savvy wing forward is the son of Mater Dei HS/Santa Ana CA/1985 McDonald’s All-American Tommy Lewis (USC/Pepperdine) now Head Coach at Valley Christian HS/Cerritos and former WNBA forward Michelle Brogan (Australian national team member that won bronze and silver medals during the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games). Che averaged 24 points per game at the camp including a 30 point outburst. Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life & Grassrootshoops.net) had him slotted as his #3 player in the camp. Scored 16 points in Best of Best game.
Hayden Clay 6’7” 2026 Trinity Christian School (Dublin GA)
Rangy PF is active on the glass and can finish around the cup. Clay runs floor well and defends with energy. Nice long-term potential.
Jason Crowe Jr. 6’0” 2026 La Tijera Academy (Inglewood CA)
Smart and crafty lefty point guard knows how to set the table for teammates as well as create his own shot (had a 32 point explosion including 6 “threes”). Will be one of the top freshmen PGs on West Coast next season. Son of Lynwood HS coach Jason Crowe Sr. (who played HS ball with Paul Pierce and at Cal State Northridge and professionally overseas).
Braeden Davidson 6’1″ 2026 Stars Preparatory Academy (Orange CA)
High-level scorer with 3-point range put up big points here: had efforts of 28 points (4 “threes”) and 27 points (3 “threes”). Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life & Grassrootshoops.net) tagged him as his #5 player in camp.
Nathan Earl 6’2 2026 Wheeler (Marietta GA)
Big guard is effective driving to the cup and scores at a high clip. Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life & Grassrootshoops.net) picked him as his #7 player in camp.
Gary Ferguson 5”11 2027 Monroe Middle School (Inglewood CA)
Started this year’s Pangos Junior All-American Camp off with a bang with a 46 point outburst (a camp record)! Promising young guard with plenty of scoring firepower! Ferguson was the only non-8th grader selected to Best of Best Game.
Justice Griffith 5”10” 2026 Boost Alternative School (Corona CA)
Athletic lead guard has Pat Beverly-type defensive instincts and the quickness to push rock in transition for easy scores. Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life & Grassrootshoops.net) chose him as his #10 player in camp.
Brannon Martinsen 6’7” 2026 Branson Academy (Aliso Viejo CA)
Lefty forward has great feel, impressive ability to stretch defenses with his accurate jump shot and more than sufficient bounce to finish with authority at rim. Brannon has a bright future. Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life & Grassrootshoops.net) noted him as his #5 player in camp.
Samuel Mbingazo 6’8″ 2026 North Las Vegas NV
Physical big man with improving offensive skills is a Congo native that is mobile in transition, a regular visitor on the glass and plays with a high motor. Definitely one to track as he enters high school.
Milak Myatt 6”3 2026 Cedarbrook MS (Wyncote PA)
East Coast wing guard can score inside as well as dial from beyond the 3-point line. High game was 18 points (2 “threes”).
CJ Richardson 5’8″ 2026 Corona CA
Excellent shooter has deep range (hit 5 “threes” in one game). Headed to Corona Centennial next school year.
Isaiah Rogers 5’10’’ 2026 Boost Academy (Corona CA)
Smooth guard with excellent basketball IQ and accurate perimeter touch had 14 points for winning squad in the Best of Best Game – earning co-MVP honors. Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life & Grassrootshoops.net) tagged “Slim” as his #8 player in camp.
Izaiyah Romero 5’11 2026 Quist Middle School (Thornton CO)
Strong Rocky Mountain lead guard makes sound decisions with rock and can score through contact.
Louvens Saint-Pierre 5’8 2026 Ocoee Middle School (Orlando FL)
Lefty Sunshine State native is a heady lead guard that is a talented distributor and quick off the bounce in transition.
Jaidyn Smith 6’6” 2026 Centennial High School (Corona CA)
Very long and still developing but very promising lefty PF was active on the boards and has nice touch in the paint. Outside shot showed signs of life here too. Very nice long-term potential.
Tyran Stokes 6’7″ 2026 Pittsburg CA
Strong and athletic PF plays like a young Paolo Banchero and is also similar in style to 2021 camp MVP Koa Peat (Perry/Gilbert AZ). Skilled offensively in the half-court, Stokes is also a terror in transition where he uses his strength and hops to punish defenders. Scored a camp-high 31 points here. Delano Tarpley 6’6″ 2026 San Antonio TX
Mobile big with nice long distance perimeter touch had 16 points (2 “threes”). Solid rebounder and defender too.
Maximus VanLaningham 6’7” 2026 Buljan Middle School (Roseville CA)
Rugged and bouncy big man runs floor well and competes hard consistently at both ends. Finishes well with he gets the ball inside and can convert scoring opportunities in transition too. Max had 10 points and 3 blocks (including the game saving block) in Best of Best Game. Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life & Grassrootshoops.net) named him as his #4 player in camp.
Isaiah Ward 6’5″ 2026 Brennan High School (San Antonio TX)
I really like the athleticism and shooting ability of this San Antonio TX native. Ward averaged 18.0 ppg and was one of the best scorers here. Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life & Grassrootshoops.net) picked him as his #9 player in camp.
Rodney Westmoreland 5’11” 2026 St. Leo (Oakland CA)
Scoring guard is a capable defender with potent 3-point range on shot (his camp-high 17 points included 3 “threes”).
Markee White Jr. 6’5 2026 Orange Lutheran (Orange CA)
One of the players with highest ceilings here was White. Athletic and long swingman with nice rotation on his jump shot has the bounce to be a problem at the rim. Markee is a SoCal player to track once he gets to HS next Fall.
Zachary White 6’4 2026 Heritage Christian (Northridge CA)
Son of former Cal star RB Russell White is nimble in transition and has natural scoring skills and instincts. White is athletic and an excellent driver to the rim. Zach had a camp-high 21 points game here. Very promising prospect.
