2020 Pangos All-American Festival East Team

Jonas Aidoo                               7-0     2021   Liberty Heights Athletic Institute (Charlotte NC)

Alden Applewhite            6-7     2021   AZ Compass Prep (Chandler AZ)
Memphis TN native is a lefty big wing that has very nice perimeter touch and likes to push the rock in transition. Applewhite has received offers from the likes of Iowa State, St. John’s, Clemson, Wake Forest, Washington State, Mississippi State, Xavier, Texas A&M, TCU and Ole Miss.  Alden is ranked #103 nationally by 247Sports is a very underrated unsigned senior prospect.  2020 Pangos All-American Festival Video-highlights:

Dallan Coleman               6-5     2021   W. Nassau County (Callahan FL)
Georgia Tech signee is a strong wing scorer that can spot-up from distance as well as take defenders off the bounce to score at the rim.  Athletic big wing had 31 points, 8 boards and 3 assists in the East’s 3rd Place game versus the Midwest and #1 prospect Chet Holmgren.  Coleman is nationally ranked #36 by Van Coleman/Nothing But Net Magazine, #48 by 247Sports composite and #55 by Rivals.com.   “Deebo” played AAU ball for Steve Reece’s Nike-sponsored E1T1 program.  2020 Pangos All-American Festival Video-highlights:

Rahsool Diggins              6-2     2021   Archbishop Wood (Philadelphia PA)
UConn signee was the East’s lone all-tourney pick here and his play was both steady and impressive.  Excellent facilitator and crafty scorer makes terrific on-ball basketball decisions and will be an impact player the moment he arrives in Storrs Ct.  Diggins was the event leader in assists per game (7.0) and is nationally ranked #44 by Rivals.com, #54 by 247 Sports composite and #65 by Van Coleman.Nothing But Net Magazine.  2020 Pangos All-American Festival Video-highlights:  https://twitter.com/balldawgs/status/1326039463693148160?s=20

Adrame Diongue              6-11    2022   AZ Compass Prep (Chandler AZ)
Diongue was a very last-minute addition to the event when UConn signee and big man Samuel Johnson had travel issues getting to Phoenix. The long and active young rim-runner and finisher is very improved over a year ago and more than held his own here against the elite big men he faced like Chet Holmgren and Paolo Banchero (averaged 8.5 ppg and 6.5 rpg). Potential to develop into an elite shot-blocker.  Adrame (one of only 2 underclassmen at the event along with Aidan Shaw) has an early offer from TCU and serious interest from Marquette.  Mentor is former Arizona Wildcat PF Mohamed Tangera.  2020 Pangos All-American Festival Video-highlights: https://twitter.com/balldawgs/status/1326410575891542019?s=20

Alex Fudge                       6-8     2021   Lee (Jacksonville FL)
LSU signee is one of the fastest stock-risers in the senior class.  Fudge, now ranked nationally #44 by 247 Sports composite and #47 by Rivals.com, is a quick and athletic hybrid forward that is versatile and productive on both ends of the floor. Alex averaged 15 points and 6 boards here and is an alum of Anthony Ricks’ FL-based Team Parsons.  2020 Pangos All-American Festival Video-highlights:  https://twitter.com/balldawgs/status/1326657302527578112?s=20

Quran McPherson            6-3     2021   Woodstock Academy (CT)
Very underrated scoring combo-guard was another very late addition to the East squad and made most of his opportunity, opening up play with a 29 point explosion against the West to go along with 6 boards and 3 assists. Strong ballhandler can finish through traffic and is very tough defender.  Quran is always in attack mode and has offers from St John’s, Rhode Island, Providence, UCLA, Auburn & Stony Brook.  2020 Pangos All-American Festival Video-highlights:  https://twitter.com/balldawgs/status/1331364016380207105

Josh Minott                      6-8     2021   St. Andrews (Boca Raton FL)
Long and skilled forward is a Memphis signee with excellent upside.  Well-built frame with bounce to match, Josh checks in at #29 nationally by 247Sports and #33 by Rivals.com.  Josh was very impressive in the 3rd place Game – going for 22 points and 7 rebounds. Key member of the FL-based Nike EYBL program NightRydas. 2020 Pangos All-American Festival Video-highlights:  https://twitter.com/balldawgs/status/1326238625143517184?s=20

Jalen Warley                    6-4     2021   Westown (PA)
Smooth lead guard with great feel for game and top-notch scoring skills.  Love the way he uses the glass effectively off the drive to the cup.  Florida State signee and Team Durant alum is nationally ranked #24 by both 247Sports composite and Rivals.com. Jalen’s development will flourish under the college tutelage of Leonard Hamilton. 2020 Pangos All-American Festival Video-highlights:  https://twitter.com/FCPPangos/status/1325509192417828865?s=20
