Trigonis Pangos AA Camp First 10

TOP CAMP PERFORMERS (Overall Camp MVPs)

Micah Gordon                  6’0”    2027   Spire Academy (OH)
Very few 2027 PGs have had a more impactful grassroots season so far than Gordon. Micah is a repeat Pangos AA Camp invitee (being selected to the Top 60 Game in 2025) and this year he was ready to build off that accomplishment. Gordon was the catalyst for this year’s top camp squad (Team Harden) who ran the table en route to an undefeated 5-0 record and camp team championship – averaging 17.3 ppg (#4 in camp), 6.0 rpg (tied for #11 in camp) and 5.0 apg (#4 in camp) including 23 points (10/12 FG) and 4 assists in camp title game. Quick, crafty and explosive playmaker has great command of the teams he directs and can hurt opposing teams from distance and mid-range as well as punish defenders at the rim as 7-1 Akol Nyok discovered (one video of that dunk on TikTok has garnered 4 million views). Capped off a great camp performance (earning overall co-MVP honors with Lewis Uvwo) with 10 points and 5 assists in the Top 30 Game. Plainfield NJ native has just transferred to Kevin Boyle’s Spire Academy and received post-camp offers from UCLA, Villanova, Georgetown and Auburn to go with past ones from Tennessee, Maryland, Rutgers, NC State and Marquette. Gordon’s superb play at Pangos AA Camp along with the subsequent NBPA Top 100 Camp has him rising rapidly in the national 2027 rankings: ESPN #34, 247Sports Composite #38 and Rivals/On3 #41. Gordon was also impressive at this month’s NBPA Top 100 Camp.

Lewis Uvwo                     6’11”  2027   Prolific Prep (Weston FL)
One of the major revelations of this year’s spring/summer season has been the energetic (to say the least) Uvwo. Lewis’ pairing with Micah Gordon on the camp’s championship squad Team Harden produced one of the most dominating 1-2, inside-out duos in camp history. Uvwo has a non-stop motor that he utilizes from tip-off to the final buzzer and his prowess as a premier shot-blocker is second to none among the players in his class! When he was not blocking shots (averaged 3.5 blocks per game here), he was altering them or discouraging shots period in the paint. Very rugged rebounder is an efficient interior scorer (shot 61.5% FG here). As the word got out regarding Lewis over the past few months, so has his national standing skyrocketed. Currently sits at #7 in 247Sports.com’s and #24 in ESPN’s national 2027 rankings. Recent offer from Kentucky joins scores of others including Kansas, UCLA, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, Ohio State, Illinois, USC, Syracuse, Miami FL, Florida State, BYU, Texas A&M and Providence. Lewis also played well at the recent NBPA Top 100 Camp.

TOP NBA PROSPECT

CJ Rosser                         6’10”   2027  Southeastern Prep (Orlando FL)

The player with the best long-term NBA potential at this year’s camp is Rosser. Long, skilled and ultra-athletic forward is a terror in transition, has the ball skills to push the ball coast to coast and be a supreme finisher with authority at the rim, has very nice range and touch on his jump shot that extends to the 3-point arc (shot 42.9% 3FG) here) and is a very underrated and willing passer. North Carolina native and Team United/Nike EYBL star averaged 16 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game here. With no clear cut #1 player in 2027 emerging yet, CJ is my current NBN Magazine 2027 #1 prospect at the moment due in large part to his immense upside and willingness to compete on a regular basis (participated in the Pangos All-American Camp, NBPA Top 100 Camp and USA U17 National Team Tryouts within a two-week span to start June – currently CJ is a starter on USA U17 squad competing right now at 2026 FIBA U17 World Cup in Istanbul Turkey. Other national outlets have him at #1 (247Sports Composite), #1 (Rivals Industry) and #4 (ESPN). Schools that have prioritized Rosser include home state North Carolina and NC State as well as Kentucky, Arkansas, Michigan and Miami FL.

REST OF TRIGONIS TOP 10 (in alphabetical order)

Zion Green                         6’9”   2027   AZ Compass Prep (Chandler AZ)
Very improved hybrid-forward was impressive here last year and showed significant improvements in all aspects of his game during his 2026 appearance.  Athletic and skilled, Zion can flush it on defenders in transition as well find creative ways to score in the half-court. Green averaged 19.5 points (top 3 in camp) and 5.5 rebounds per game here. Philadelphia PA native is now is headed to AZ Compass Prep for his senior year and will be a key cog for coach Pete Kaffey’s Dragons. Ranked #15 by Rivals and #29 by the 247Sports Composite, Green has received offers from Kansas, Michigan, Maryland, Syracuse and Alabama.

Dooney Johnson              6’7”    2027   Milwaukee Juneau (Milwaukee WI)
Confident and assertive swingman makes plays on both ends.  Gonzaga commit is a terrific downhill slashing scorer and an absolute menace on defense. Very effective rebounder (averaged5.8 rpg here) was also an NBPA Top 100 Camp invitee. Johnson activity and energy makes him seemed involved in every play. DJ plays winning basketball. Dooney is listed as #18 by Rivals, #26 by 247 Sports Composite and #30 by ESPN. 2026 NBPA Top 100 Camp invitee.

Dylan Jones                     6’7”    2027   Bartlett (TN)
Strong and muscular swingman has the bounce and toughness to finish through contact at the rim and can also hurt opposing defenses with his potent 3-point shot.  Jones averaged an impressive 17 ppg and 5 rpg here and followed that up with an efficient 16 points (6/9 FG; 2/3 3FG) and 7 boards in the Top 30 Game – earning a share of Game co-MVP honors. Team Thad/Nike EYBL standout currently checks in at #35 in ESPN and #46 in the 247 Sports Composite, Memphis and Providence are among the many colleges who would love to have his future services.

Moussa Kamissoko         6’8”    2027   Long Island Lutheran (Glen Head NY)
Very versatile and multi-positional player reminds me a lot of a young Jarred Vanderbilt (Kentucky/Los Angeles Lakers). Moussa has the desired length, quickness and size to guard 4 positions, ability to score or facilitate off the bounce (averaged 2.5 assists here) as well as be a fastbreak starter with his propensity to clean the glass (averaged 6.0 boards). MK also has the wingspan to be a potentially lock-down defender and disruptor (1.8 steals per game). There is a lot of point-forward qualities to his game. PSA Cardinals/Nike EYBL standout has been heralded for quite sometime as his lofty national ranking (#4 by Rivals, #12 by the 247Sports Composite and #14 by ESPN) demonstrates. Kentucky, Alabama, Louisville, Syracuse, BYU, Illinois and Virginia are among his many suitors.

Chase Lumpkin               6’4”    2027   McEachern (Powder Springs GA)
Smooth Peach State lead guard is an excellent table-setter (dished out 4.0 apg here) and has the size to be a factor on the glass (6.8 rpg). Really like his mid-range pull-up and his ability to be a harrassing defender ala Kenny Smith (North Carolina/NBA/TNT & ESPN analyst) whose Jet Academy/Nike EYBL squad he currently stars on. Posted as the #28 by ESPN, #33 by 247Sports, and #35 by Rivals Industry in the 2027 national rankings, Chase has been offered by Kentucky, Michigan, Auburn, USC, Georgia, Indiana, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Iowa and Arizona State.

Tyler Sutton                        6’2” 2027   Overtime Elite (Atlanta GA)
Crafty creator saved his best for last as he scored 17 points and handed out a camp record 15 assists in Top 30 Game – grabbing co-MVP honors. Sutton has that traditional Philly playmaker moxy and is presently pegged #54 by 247Sports and #76 by Rivals Industry. Villanova, St. John’s, Maryland, Pitt, NC Statte and Penn State are among the many schools interested in having him on-campus as college freshman in 2027-28.

Howard Williams              6’7”    2027   Dynamic Prep (Dallas TX)
I’ve known this Windy City native since he came to my Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp as an 8th grader and his evolution as a player has been a joy to witness. Well-built and long-armed WF with very refined shooting touch averaged camp best 21.3 points (50% 3FG) to go with 7.3 boards (good for #5 in camp) and was Top 20 in assists (2.8 apg). Shared Thomas “Toody” Cirincione Award (with Ziare Rasshan and Aaron McMorran for most 3 mades at the camp (15). Long-time national scout Frank Burlison has compared Williams body-type to a young Kawhi Leonard. Nationally ranked #36 by Rivals and #51 by 247 Sports, Howard has been offered by the likes of Washington, Florida State, Illinois and Mississippi State.
