The 2023 Pangos Platform Tip-Off continued today (April 22nd) at Bishop Gorman HS (Las Vegas NV) with teams including Elev8 Elite National 17, Paul George Elite EYBL 16 & 15, Los Angeles Rockfish, Team Build Up 17 and Belmont Shore 16 making their 1st appearances.

Below is a look at several Day Two players that stood out:

Kendyl Sanders               6’6″    2024   St. Bernard (Playa del Rey CA)
Sanders has been very impressive so far here this weekend – leading Belmont Shore 17 to a 3-0 record so including a 84-82 win over a loaded and deep Elev8 Elite National (CA) squad. Kendyl had a team-high 26 points in that contest. With the departure of 6-0 2023 Tyler Rolison, Sanders is expected to play a more featured role for Tony Bland’s St. Bernard program next season and his emergence as a legit and versatile inside-out threat will make the Vikings a CIFSS-Open Division contender next year. NCAA tourney runners-up San Diego State among the growing number of schools showing interest in Sanders.

Keyon Kensie                    6’8”     2023   Taft (Woodland Hills CA)
Keyon is a long and ultra-athletic wing that creates well off the bounce. One of the West Coast’s top seniors still on the board is getting interest from San Diego, Syracuse, USC, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State, UC-Santa Barbara and High Point

Denzell Hines                    6’6”     2023   Colony (Ontario CA)
Strong wing has very nice 3-point touch – scoring a game-high 28 points (6 threes) vs, Belmont Shore.  Could be a late steal for right low-mid D1 program or national scholarship JC.

Demarco Johnson           6’4”    2025   SoCal Academy (CA)
Johnson is an active and assertive guard always in attack mode.  Paul George Elite 16 EYBL standout had 17 points (2 threes) in Win over Vegas Elite EYBL15u squad.

Justin Daniels                  6’5”    2023   Colorado Prep (Denver CO)
Wired to score combo-guard caught fire against Elev8 Elite National 17 – scored 20 points in Belmont Shore’s win that included a hailstorm of 5 threes. 

Jaxon Richardson           6’5”    2026   Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas NV)
Very promising young swingman is a maturing athlete with a bright future. Brother Jase Richardson is highly regarded 2024 recruit and dad Jason Richardson played at Michigan State and in the NBA.

Daniel Marcellinus           6’10”  2025   Prolific Prep (Napa CA)
Huge post player takes up space in the paint and loves to mix it with opposing bigs.  Regular visitor on the glass with ability to catch and score on the block. 

Will Smith                         6’4”    2023   Bishop Montgomery (Torrance CA)
Smith scored 2 of his 15 points on a mid-range put-back as time expired to lift Belmont Shore over a strong Elev8 Elite National squad. Rugged defender with ability to finish at the rim through contact.

D’Andre Harrison             6’5”    2025   Perry (Gilbert CA)
Strong and physical wing with smooth jump shot from the perimeter.  Very good student is a more than solid defender.

Steven Evans-Glynn        6’5”    2025   San Ysidro (CA)
Quick and bouncy young WG with high upside.  SoCal name for the future.

Malachi Knight                 6’3”    2025   Leuzinger (Lawndale CA)   
Sharpshooting WG has emerging athleticism at the rim.

Treymayne Anderson      6’5”    2025   Centennial (Las Vegas NV)
Undersized PF is a crafty scorer from the high post on in and a tough match-up for bigger forwards.

Blake Davidson                6’8”    2025   Mater Dei (Santa Ana CA)
Long and thin forward has nice mobility and touch around the basket.

Isaac Boykin                      6’2”     2023   Desert Pines (Las Vegas NV)
Las Vegas Olympians standout PG can really put points on the board and is a terrific student (4.0 GPA). Boykin had 18 points (3 threes) in win over Southwest Rebels 17 (AZ).

Promise Madubugwu         6’10”   2024   Gardena (CA)
Center with massive size is a work in progress but it’s coming along. Shot-blocker has improved touch around cup and and is an imposing figure in the paint.

Kavon Ray                        6’2”     2024   Venice (Los Angeles CA)
Quick as a cat lefty PG can get finish at rim as well as create space for his jumper via use of a crafty cross-over dribble. Will reclassify to 2024 and spend next season at Future College Prep (CA) or Veritas Prep (CA).

Delan Grant                      6’2”    2026   Heritage Christian (Northridge CA)
Strong and physical lead guard can really defend and has ability to score off the bounce through traffic.

Jett Washington                 6’4”     2026   Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas NV)

Athletic wing can slash and score.  Nephew of the late Kobe Bryant is also an excellent football prospect.

Jacob Lilliard           6’6”     2025   Hillcrest (Riverside CA)
Young forward runs well baseline to baseline and has very nice shot-blocking instincts.
