The 2024 Pangos Premier 80 Showcase tipped-off the July Live Period on the West Coast earlier this month on Thursday July 11th at McBride HS (Long Beach CA), showcasing a group of approximately 80 top prospects nationwide representing 10 different states as well as Australia and drawing a substantial number of college coaches. Top scouts on-hand included Frank Burlison, Ronnie Flores, Joey Velasquez and Devin Ugland as well as NBN Magazine’s Aubrey Gray and Jason O’Neill. There was a deep pool of quality prospects in the house again this year. Below is my recap of this event featuring 30 of the top players that stood out (in alphabetical order) as well as players noted as “Honorable Mention.”
Trigonis Top 30
Timmy Anderson 5’10” 2026 Blair (Pasadena CA)
Quick point guard with real scoring punch averaged 18 ppg here. Shifty in transition, Anderson has very nice ability to create his own shot off the bounce.
Kenyon Aguino 6’7” 2025 Volcano Vista (Albuquerque NM)
Strong and skilled forward with a fantastic academic profile (4.2 GPA) has an impressive all-around game. Aguino has effective back to the basket footwork and is a dependable rebounder. Offers include New Mexico State, San Jose State, Cal State Northridge, Montana, Denver, Air Force, North Dakota and Northern Colorado. Kenyon has been invited to the upcoming NCAA College Basketball Academy in Rock Hill SC (July 23-25).
Kaiden Bailey 6’3” 2026 Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana CA)
Kaiden is a combo-scorer deluxe that had consistent production here: 18 and 19 point games. Bailey has a terrific perimeter stroke with a quick release and improved ability to set table for teammates. Bailey averaged 43 ppg at this June’s CA CIF Cali Live event in Sacramento CA. 2024 Pangos All-American Camp Top 60 Game selection has offers to date from West Virginia, Mississippi State, Washington State, UC-Santa Barbara, Loyola Marymount, UC-San Diego, UT-Arlington and Seattle with UCLA, Purdue and Oregon also showing interest. Ranked #104 nationally by On3, Kaiden just transferred to Calvary Chapel from his previous HS (Crean Lutheran) to play for his dad James Bailey who was recently named head coach at CC.
Lonnie Bass 6’8” 2025 Mater East (Las Vegas NV)
Strong and burly PF has the physique to bang inside as well as a soft shooting touch to extend defenses. Best game here was a near double/double effort (12 points/9 rebounds).
Da’Vian Brooks 6’3” 2025 Knight (Palmdale CA)
Quick guard with very good scoring skills is a top SoCal sleeper worth monitoring for low D1s and D2s. Very good student’s (3.5 GPA) signature game here was: 17 points (7/9 FG; 2/2 3FG).
Tammar Brown 7’0” 2025 Rock Top Academy (King of Prussia PA)
Brown was the tallest player here as well as from furthest distance. Agile Big is an excellent rebounder (had an event-high 14 boards) and a formidable rim-protector. Not a finished product but his long time upside is very apparent.
Christian Collins 6’8” 2026 Westchester (Los Angeles CA)
Its starting to all come together for Christian. 2024 Pangos All-American Camp Top 60 Game is a skilled swingman with great length and innate scoring skills. Collins had a high-game of 21 points (9/16 FG; 1/2 3FG), 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Christian has skyrocketed up the national rankings since his impressive Pangos AA Camp performance last month and has quickly picked up offers from USC, Arizona State, Cal and San Diego who are among the growing number of schools realizing Christian’s vast talent. Washington, Cal and San Diego State were among the colleges showing up here to watch him. Christian is now ranked #19 by On3, #30 by both ESPN and Rivals/Yahoo Sports and #39 by the 247 Sports composite.
Rashod Cotton 6’2” 2026 Dougherty Valley (San Ramon CA)
Slick scoring guard is elusive off the bounce and is a certified bucket-getter. Good student (3.3 GPA) had a high-game here of 15 points.
Kenyon DeMuynck 6’9” 2024 Link Prep (Branson MO)
Keyon was one of this event’s standouts. Bay Area (San Leandro CA) native with a 7’3″ wingspan is a premier shot-blocker with a very improved face-up ability. Long and athletic forward runs the floor like a big gazelle and is active at all times on the glass. DeMuynck’s signature game here was: 17 points (3/5 3FG), 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. Kenyon also played well at this past June’s Pangos All-American Camp – being selected to the Top 60 Game. Mid-to-high major potential once he adds upper body strength. 2024 Pangos All-American Camp highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2GaIh8KEHU

Very good student (3.7 GPA) is athletic, strong and an impactful 2-way player. May not be done growing (dad Yamen Sanders is 6-9 and played at USC for George Raveling and younger brother Kyle is already 6-8 as a rising HS freshman).
