Fast-rising scoring guard Bryce Hamilton from Pasadena (CA) has committed to UNLV after considering offers from the likes of Ohio State, Arizona State, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Washington State, Nevada, UC-Santa Barbara, UTEP, Santa Clara, Utah State, Portland and Buffalo.

The 6-foot-5 Hamilton is ranked No. 76 in the Class of 2018 by Nothing But Magazine, No. 74 by Rivals.com and No. 84 by Scout.com

In 2016-17, Hamilton led Pasadena to a 27-win season, the Pacific League title and trips to the CIF-Southern Section Division I-AA and CIF Division II State Regional championship games. He averaged 24.6 points, 8.2 boards and 2.7 assists per game. In the state Division II regional final, Hamilton had 31 points (22 in 2nd half).

Those efforts led to him being named League MVP, Pasadena-Star News’ Player of the Year and first-team All-CIF I-AA.

Last Spring and Summer, Hamilton was a standout for the Belmont Shore Basketball Club. He earned all-tourney honors at the Pangos Spring Sweet 16 in Las Vegas (NV), Terrific 24 in Indianapolis (IN) and Fab 48 in Las Vegas (NV). Hamilton was one of the leading scorers in the 500 team Fab 48 with 49 points in one game. For video highlights, follow the link (click here).

Hamilton was also invited this past summer to the prestigious Pangos All-American Camp in Cerritos (CA) and NBA Player Association Top 100 Camp in Charlottesville (VA). He is also a very good student, sporting a 3.4 GPA.
