The Fullcourt Press Diamond in the Rough Senior Showcase presented by Pangos (for unsigned 2021 prospects) was held earlier this month (January 10th) at AZ Compass Prep (Chandler AZ).
There were several quality “still available” prospects participating representing the following states: CA, NV, AZ, OR, WA, AK, TX, IL, MI, MN, NY, NJ, NH and Canada

Below is a look at several of the top players (plus honorable mention) at the event that caught my eye.
Tyler Andrews 6’6” Kimball Union Academy (NH)
Iowa native with plenty of MM+ to HM-minus value is a talented WF with a strong frame, ample athleticism and excellent scoring skills. Great attitude with terrific potential. Very good student (3.7 GPA) reminds me a little of Timmy Allen who has had nice success with Utah in the Pac-12.
Denim Dawson 6’5” Colony (Ontario CA)
Super sleeper senior wing with high-flying athleticism and a very improved perimeter shot glides smoothly from baseline to baseline. Underrated rebounder always seems to be in attack-mode. Good student (3.3 GPA) played at Colony (Ontario CA) as a junior (2019-20) and is considering a re-class to 2022 class.
Isaiah Broady 6’8” AZ Compass Prep (Chandler AZ)
Intriguing multi-position player with nice length is a bona-fide D1 prospect with a nice skill set and plenty of athleticism. TCU, UC-Santa Barbara and UC-Davis are among his current offers.
Jaden Winfield 6’5” King (Riverside CA)
St. Louis MO native that relocated to SoCal this past summer is a high-scoring WG with deceptive athleticism. Reminds me of another Riverside King alum Carlon Brown (Colorado/2012 Pac-12 Tourney MVP). Seems to be a real late-bloomer as he did not have a big rep during his St. Louis high school career. 2.8 GPA/20 ACT.
Stephen Coleman 6’5” Hillcrest (Phoenix AZ)
Former Siena commit is a rangy swingman that makes plays on both ends. Toledo OH native scored 15 points (with 3 “threes”) in his 2nd game played at the event.
Peter Nwoke 6’9” Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Prep (MI)
Active and bouncy PF runs well baseline to baseline and can finish well in traffic. Really like his energy and knack for finding the ball. Terrific student (4.3 GPA/31 ACT).
DeDrick “DJ” Martin 6’8” St. Anthony (Long Beach CA)
DJ Ja’vonte-Eli Martin (formerly known DJ Allen) is an intriguing unsigned SoCal senior. St. Anthony HS hybrid-forward missed his entire junior season last year (19-20) due to injury but had a recent growth spurt. Athletic/long rim-runner and solid rebounder has real versatility and upside. Excellent student (3.9 GPA).
Jack Lerner 6’7” Hillcrest (Phoenix AZ)
Face up PF with plenty of range and accuracy on his smooth jump shot. New York native is a good student (3.2 GPA) too.
Latae’vyon Taylor 6’2” Simeon (Chicago IL)
LT was on fire in his 2nd game of the day at the event – scoring 23 points from both deep and mid-range. Quick off the dribble, this Chi-town native is also a pesky defender.
Aryan Kohli 6’1” Eastview (Apple Valley MN)
Kohli is a terrific 3-point sharp-shooter – had 5 “threes” (including game winner) en route to 17 points in 1st game played at the event. Tremendous student too (3.96 GPA/34 ACT) with great hoop IQ.
Amari Tice 6’7” Newburg Free Academy (NY)
Athletic and active forward is quick to the cup and has legitimate 3-point range. Scored 18 points (including 2 “threes”) in his 2nd game at the event. Recently moved to Las Vegas NV.
Dimitrios Stragalinos 6’4” Skyline Prep (Phoenix AZ)
Long and crafty lead guard is quick off the bounce in ball-screen action and has range to the 3-point arc. Bay Area native is also a fine passser.
Max Kunnert 6’3” Hillcrest (Phoenix AZ)
Brookfield WI native is an outstanding shooter and student (3.8 GPA).
Joshua Uduje 6’5” AZ Compass Prep (Chandler AZ)
Under the radar athletic wing doesn’t get many minutes on a loaded AZ Compass Prep squad, but Hofstra has offered with interest from Portland.
Keiren “KP” Brown 6’1” St. Mary’s (Phoenix AZ)
Strong and steady lead guard with excellent passing skills is among AZ’s top unsigned seniors.
Javon Ervin 6’3” Ingraham (Seattle WA)
Crafty and quick Emerald City wing has confident jump shot and is a tenacious defender.
Jaren Miller 6’1” Grace Christian (Anchorage AK)
Alaska native is a tough combo-guard that can make tough shots and does not back down on the defensive end. Very good student (3.4 GPA).
Sincere Edwards 6’4” Pebble Hills (El Paso TX)
Smooth wing is an effective slashing scorer.
